Shhhh...Gals Talk
Have been hearing lotsa love stories in the recent years. Undeniably, it is common matter for ppl this age. Courting, hearts breaking, breaking up…I’m not a guy, so I dunno what exactly a guy would do when they’ve found love. So what I can do is to tell from my observation and experiences. Both are jumbled up, hehehe you won’t know which is which…hehehe :P

Some guys just shy away when they found love, never having the guts to do a thing about it. When the gal has got a bf or smth, these guys would juz cry and regret regret regret…….but one thing here, you’ll never know who else is crying for you too, they might be even more sadder to see you that way. (Applies to all kind of depression, over results ke…not juz broken heart anyway ) When that happens, can that be an indication of you being in love?? Maybe ~ (If I’m miserable, will anybody else feel more miserable than me? I dunno *sob* )

Some guys will begin doing lots of sweet + nice stuffs to get the gals heart (one advice, make sure in the gal’s heart there’s no one else first hahaha, well gals WILL get touched but expect nothing more than that, dun expect other things beyond a thank you in this particular case) Of coz, you can still make an effort though, coz there’s nothing certain in life, who knows, you juz might touched and win her heart over someday.

Some guys seem to like to hear the word no. As long as they don’t hear the gal saying it, they won’t give up hope to get the gals change their mind, apani? Can’t they juz make assumptions when it’s so obvious that they already could? Some gals find it hard to say no even when they know they should; these guys are forcing the gals to be mean sometimes. They are making use of this gals’ weakness and use it as weapons. But I think usually guys like this are able to accept the worst possible answers wan, rite?

Some guys juz not ready for this kinda thingy. Afraid of commitments? Or plain lazy? Or barely feel that by saying not ready is a good way to reject? Of coz, there are exceptions. Some really do not see the need in having a gf; some wanna pay full attentions to their studies; some know what their own priorities are in life (A secure job first? or A family? or Money?), some are still waiting for ms right to appear, some have found their gals…grab ‘em, never let them go, it’s not easy to find a person who can reciprocate your love. Cherish is the word ;)

*Whisper of the day : A guy can do all sorts of things for a gal, those things would definitely pleased her. But in some cases, what will please her the most, might not be all these stuffs, instead it could be just a smile or a ‘hi’ from the other one guy in her heart. Well, this is life and life’s like this….sigh. Again, like I said, there are alwiz surprises and hopes in life. So dun ever give up on wat u believes in, deep inside!!

Unlucky?
There was Internet access on Wednesday, yeap only for one day...sigh:( I updated my friendster coz I can’t open it at home, guess my pc is ‘picking on’ that website hahaha…and also imageshack.us. Can’t wait to go back to the mmu lab next sem and I’ll be able to post more pictures here…

I’m sooo tired now….Stomach ache last night, suffering from food poisoning. I thought it was caused by the dinner food my mom bought from outside, who knows when I reached the office, found out that other staff from other depts too complained about the same thing, diarrhea + vomiting. Seems like the main cause was the food we ate at the a colleague's hari raya open house earlier in the day. She invited all the big big bosses and almost all office staff for lunch at her house. What happened at work was kinda funny too. Everyone was like “ eh u kena ar? ” “eh u also ar?” hahaha..and for most of us it started around 10pm onwards then at 3am and 5am. So coincident eh?

Fortunately it only happened AFTER my shopping yesterday. Lucky lucky~ coz I ran around the place quite a lot. Now still running but is running outta energy to work! 5.15pm seems like far out of reach :( I juz wish I could go home and sleep…put an end to my suffering.

Study week is almost over and finals is juz a days away. Study hard ppl, wishing you all Good Luck. And remember, study smart too…go sleep if you are sleepy, btw dun fall asleep sitting, it could hurt your back. Ok gtg...I'm sleepy as well.

*Whisper of the day-Yeah, we trainees are free for not having to study for finals, and it’s also true that after work everyday, we’ll be so free. Actually we’re exhausted becoz of the tedious work. Could be more tired than those who are preparing for finals though.

Malaysian Rangoli Record
That's me and my masterpiece right in front of me!!

Original description: Wow~Masterpiece, somebody’s proud of it =P

As you all know, I'm the Director of Academic, Creative Arts Club. We had a one-day event at the Batu Berendam Badminton Hall, wanting to break the record of the previous 200m long Rangoli (colored-rice design) and we did it!! We've got 404m now!! The record belongs to us...Multimedia University Creative Arts Club!! Woohoo~ incredible!!

The other HiComms started only the measurement work on Friday night. I wasn't being informed about it, perhaps they knew I can't help much as I was already so drained with my work on that day itself. They stayed there till 4am, went home then got back at 7am I think. Around 8am, the committees arrived and started to do the real thing, that is to place those rice on the chalk-drawn design on the floor, box by box, line by line, til the end of 400m.

I continued drawing the design until another HiComm came asking my opinion about doing the kononnya most important part of the whole project where we would draw the MMU logo and name, plus the club's name. Only us two would do the finishing…good idea!!Hehehe…He did most of the writing coz I couldn't!! I can't write big fonts, usually they won't be symmetrical :-( I think I wrote only one alphabert, the 'Y' hehehe… Then as for the colors decision, his was the 'Multimedia University'. Mine was the idea of putting shades of yellow and orange on 'Creative Arts Club'…nice leh? :-P We are supposed to put red at the bottom, followed by orange then yellow. But too bad, we din have red rice!

We wanted to complete the whole thing by ourselves. ( coz if we were to do the main ones, it's toooo many and we can't really tell which was the one we did ourselves later on ) But anyway, Joanna was given the 'permission' to do the touch up of our design hehehe. Thanks! We managed to get it done around 3pm, before the arrival of the VIPs and the MMU president, Mr. Ghauth at 4pm. So now, I can looked back at the work and say " I contributed 50% of it !" Kekeke…

Took pics. Some by the members of the press..can't wait to see my face appearing in the newspapers hehehe ( if got la anyway ). Oh yeah there was this funny incident where the MMU CITS staff recording the process. Florence, the president was to interview the participants. When she saw me, she called my name and me and David ran away like crazee man…macam freaks! Nope, not recorded…erm I think so. Or else, it'll be damn embarassing! Later we all told her that she should tell us about it earlier, so that we can prepare our answers in advanced. Worse if she asked me questions, and I went "ar ar..erm erm.." in front of the camera right? Lagi paiseh like that~

Can't wait for this weekend, surely gonna be a great one! My supervisor had been to China since last week..so I’m free from her supervision! Yeah…only free from supervision, not work assignments that she had pesan :(

*Whisper of the day : Sometimes it's so cool to have something interesting, memorable events to look back at in life. I think it depends on how precious the memories are to you and how much you feel proud of it.

No Finals No More Reports
I’m now in MMU. Came to submit my final report and settle my club’s thing. No more report writing anymore from now on hehehe~ Anyway, I will be having a 6-day break starting from tomorrow onwards till Tuesday. How about MMU?

Regarding the rangoli event, if anybody seen it in any newspaper, please kindly keep them for me ok...thanks!

Final is approaching….and I’m glad that I’m ‘taking a break’ this sem kekeke :-P Prepare ahead….dun wait till study week! Nothing else that is interesting to blog about now (actually got smth lar..but it's not interesting tough, I was finally being asked to give an 'answer' adi) So that’s all, adios!!

O.C.B.C. aka Banana
I got the nexus newsletter the other day when I went to campus. There's this one article about being an OCBC (org cina bukan cina). Banana, white on the inside and yellow on the outside.

English is my mother tongue. I grew up speaking English with my parents; simple Mandarin with my grandmother; BM with my mom's side grandparents. I'm not really a banana though I was like one, back in standard 1. I din know wat the teacher was talking about, she asked the class a question, some of them raised their hands, some didn't. Some damn blur, din have a clue on what was happening~ me for example hahahha! The teacher was juz speaking the Mandarin that wasn't up to my standard, I guess :-)

Slowly, I started to pick up. Supposedly I was to study in IJC, but my parents later thought that it's better for me to get enrolled in a Chinese school, since they are already English-ed.

NDC vs IJC vs MGS. NDC would say IJC and MGS gals are all bananas, OCBC, then they'd say we can't speak a proper line of english hahahah :P

Being a banana, unfortunately does have its disadvantages. One new thing I was being enlighten of early this year, and was kinda shocked to hear was that banana kenot go for chinese new year concert coz they can't understand wat the performers were trying to present. Kesian!

The author too mentioned that he has to cross out gals who speak exclusively Mandarin from his list of potential partners. Y'know..once, I asked one fren of mine to go yamcha, then when she found out that she has to communicate with my other frens in english, she went smth like " Ar? Bu yao la, jiang ying wen de.." ( translation: " Ar dun wan lar, speak english wan" ) Haii~~

There's absolutely nothing wrong for not being able to communicate in mandarin. Well, my dad's mandarin has improved over the years. My mom too, she can understand simple ones, so sometimes if I wanna tell my sis something over the dinner table, things that I dun wan my mom to know, I convey it in Cantonese. That wan confirm she won't understand a word hahahaha. I'm not a Cantonese la, anyway gua ni kan, so proud to be a half nyonya hehehe.

*Whiper of the day : It's never too late to start learning a language you think is important, it's the determination that counts :-)

Course Registration
I received perhaps my last 21st B'day present adi. No, it's not a real baby panda bear :-( Wahahha..the weather here would surely killed it man. Yeah, so the best way is to have a soft toy version instead, hehe~

Did my last course registration this morning, sad sad. I juz enjoy arranging time table, too bad it's already my last semester, can't be doing it again unless there's anyone out there who wanna outsource the work to me in the future. I'll be more than happy to do that again!! Guarantee best time slots, if possible no Friday classes, no 8am lecture, and can still have time to take nap in the afternoon after all classes. Charges depends. Terms and condition applies.

Usually I'll be the one arranging the time-table and then inform my frens about it, hehehe~ Though sometimes memabukkan, but still it's quite a fun and exciting thing to do, u know.

My eye is getting better though it's still not fully subsided. Another thing, I really have to cut down on my food intake adi sial, I think I'm getting fat. Not used to hearing myself saying that anyway. Hahaha..ok I'll stop here.

*Whisper of the day : It consumes a myriad amount of thinking, guts and courage for a gal to finally tell a guy how she feels for him; but does this same thing apply to a guy who decided to tell a gal wat's on his mind?
